Are you a busy stay at home, work at home or fulltime working mom? Do you just need a break to get together with "the girls" and unwind? If you answered yes you may want to check out the Mothers Association of Chapin AKA M.A.C.
These ladies get together at Stoney Pointe Clubhouse at least once a month for a social where they may have a guest speaker and almost always have a great time. They also have a monthly get together at a local restaraunt to enjoy a quiet (yeah right!), relaxing dinner and talk about anything that comes to mind!
You can find more info on their website, including contact numbers for officers. This is an excerpt from the website:
“To celebrate Motherhood and provide encouragement and support to mothers of all ages and backgrounds.”
Mission:
The Mission of the Mothers’ Association of Chapin (MAC) is to celebrate Motherhood as one of the most important and influential occupations in the world. In the celebration of this status, we, as members of MAC, will strive to provide encouragement; motivation and support to women who have chosen to put their family first. We will also strive to serve our community through community outreach projects that not only lift each other up as mothers and role models for our children, but also as women who have something of value to give others. We were established to make a difference in the lives of our families and the lives of others around us.

AND THAT'S NOT ALL...
I just heard from Kerri of Lake Murray Moms, and they are also located in Chapin.
They have monthly socials on the first thursday of every month at the Stoney Pointe clubhouse located in the Stoney Pointe subdivision across from Chapin Elemenatry. The socials begin at 7:00 p.m. and they either have a speaker or just social time. Everyone brings an appetizer and a drink and just enjoy each other's company. The social for March will be on the 6th. They also have a mom's night out once a month on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. They discuss the location and time at the socials.

So, Chapin Moms, take your pick or join both, either way it sounds like you'll have a good time AND get involved with the community.
